Mission
Higher Ground Church exists to share the redemptive story of God’s love with the world, equipping every member to be a living representation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in everyday life. We believe this happens as we continually grow in our understanding of loving God and others through worship, prayer, and a commitment to living out the truth of God in community.
Vision
Our vision at Higher Ground is to be a place where disciples and leaders are developed from ordinary people released for God’s purpose. We aim to have our youth incorporated in our ministries as we serve our city in the name of Jesus. We desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled through the planting of the Gospel and growth of local churches.

Our church is led by a plurality of elders (pastors), men of Christ-like character trained within the church, who are servant-leaders devoted to prayer and ministry of the word. These leaders are held accountable to the Love Listens policy. - Love and Unity
We desire our ministry to be marked by a Christ-like selfless love, loyalty, and unity with fellow believers. - Raising Godly Families
Strong families are the foundation for strong churches. Therefore, we make it a priority to equip members and pastors in building their marriages and families. - Every Member A Minister
All Christians are empowered through the Holy Spirit to be workers in the church, not just the pastors. Therefore, we seek to equip each member to utilize his/her spiritual gifts to serve others.
