BLOODHOUNDS

Bloodhounds are a breed of dog that is trained to follow a scent trail until they come to the end and catch or tree their prey. I am told that the really good bloodhounds hate the prey that they are tracking and want to catch it and if they do catch it they will tear the animal to shreds. I am also told that if the bloodhounds are tracking you there is one thing that you can do to throw the hounds off of the scent trail so they can not continue to follow you. That is if you come to a river and wade through the water the scent trail is broken and the hounds can no longer follow you.
There are ten “bloodhounds” that will follow every man and woman their entire life and at the end of their life they will catch and destroy that person. Do you know what those ten “bloodhounds” are? They are the Ten Commandments. Do you believe that is true? Ask yourself, have you ever lied? Have you ever taken anything that didn’t belong to you? Have you ever dishonored your parents? Jesus said that if you look at another person and lust you have already committed adultery in your heart. Have you looked with lust? It becomes clear when you look at all Ten Commandments that those bloodhounds are on your trail and at the end of your life they will catch up with you and destroy your soul in hell.
There is one thing that you can do to throw those ten bloodhounds off the trail so they can not catch you and destroy you. The only thing that will save you on that day is if you pass through the river of blood that flows from the foot of the cross, then the scent trail is broken and the bloodhounds can’t get to you. Do you know what I am talking about? I am talking about repenting of your sins and placing your faith and trust in Jesus Christ to save you from your sins. Have you done this? If not those bloodhounds are on your trail and they will catch and destroy you at the end of your life.
My friend, I hope that you will realize that you are being hunted down by the moral law and obey the gospel of Jesus Christ by confessing and repenting (turn from sin) and then believing that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and rose from the dead to be able to forgive your sins. If you want to do this, ask God in a simple prayer to save you from your sins and tell Him that you are putting your trust in Jesus Christ for your Salvation. If you have done this start to read the Bible and pray every day, find a group of Christians that you can meet regularly with and tell other people about your decision to trust in Jesus.
